The Leinster Championship winning manager says his players are focused ahead of an All Ireland final.
"We'll be back"
That's the message coming from the Offaly under 20 hurling manager Leo O'Connor after he watched his panel win the Leinster Championship against Wexford in dramatic circumstances in Carlow last night.
Offaly often found themselves on the wrong side of the referee in a pulsating contest that started as a one point game and stayed that way for the majority of the evening.
Charlie Mitchell was sent off for a second yellow card early in the second period but an excellent Adam Screeney goal propelled the Faithful County on.
Offaly fought tooth and nail for the remaining 25 minutes of the game and reached the full time whistle 1-21 to 0-22 winners.
They'll face Cork in an All Ireland final and O'Connor says while his players will be ready for it, the county should be focused on one game:
There's been plenty of joy and support coming from some well known Faithful fans since the final whistle.
Two very happy Offaly men here in Rochester. Great win for our @Offaly_GAA under 20s this evening and great to see a bit of silverware heading for Offaly again 🟢⚪️🟡 pic.twitter.com/31XndpGnwc
