Repeated Injury Concerns Behind Dolan's Decision To Call Time On Career

The veteran played 13 years with the county.

A number of injuries and an increase in back-to-back games were behind a Westmeath veteran's decision to stand down from inter-county GAA.

Garrycastle defender, James Dolan, played 13 years with the Lake County, making nearly 140 appearances during that time.

Among his achievements are the 2022 Tailteann Cup title, a number of appearances in Leinster finals, and two National Football League titles.
