Reports Indicate Offaly And Tipperary Set For Fine

Both counties are to be penalised for taking part in a recent challenge match.

The Irish Independent report that the Tipperary and Offaly county boards have both been issued with 250 euro fines following a challenge hurling game which was arranged between the counties recently at a time when such activity is not permitted by the GAA.

Neither side have played since their exits from the Championship in May of this year.

The GAA has prohibited challenge matches until January 1st.
