Laois have joined Westmeath on the senior hurling manager market after Maher's announcement.

Willie Maher is stepping down from his role over the Laois Senior Hurling Panel after two years, citing the time committment required to fulfill the role.
After a year where Laois secured their return to Division One hurling, it was expected in many part the Tipperary man would pursue another term with the O'Moore County.
However it was announced late last night he'd be stepping down with immediate effect.
