Town Continue Unbeaten Form In Women's Premier Division Title Race

Athlone take on Shelbourne in the All Island Cup this weekend.

Athlone Town's title campaign continues apace in the Women's Premier Division after their latest win.

Ciaran Kilduff's side ran out 1-0 winners over Treaty United in Lissywollen after Chloe Singleton struck her fifth league goal of the season on Saturday.

The midlanders have now gone five league games without conceding, and are 11 games unbeaten in all competitions.

Singleton and Town's centre half Jesi Rossman have  both been named in the league's team of the week for their performances.

Their next outing is against the new league leaders, Shelbourne, in the quarter finals of the All Island Cup on Saturday.
