The Port swimmer will be competing for another medal in the 50m fly this evening.

Nicole Turner has qualified for her second Paralympic final in a week.

The Portarlington swimmer finished third in the 50m Butterfly S6 in a time of 38.10 to book her place in this evening's medal race.

Turner will be joined by Dearbhaile Brady who finished fourth in 38.73 in her heat to make her first Paralympic final.

The final takes place in the La Defense Arena at 5.05pm.

Elsewhere in the Pool, there was disappointment for Ellen Keane.

16 years after her debut in Beijing, the Dublin woman, who won gold in Tokyo, had her final swim in Paris today, finishing sixth in the heats of the women's S9 100 metres backstroke.

Barry McClements has qualified for the final of the men's S9 100 metre backstroke by finishing fourth in his heat.

And fresh from her silver medal the other day, Roisin Ni Riain is in the heats of the SM13 200 metre individual medley later this morning.
