Westmeath's League Champions Set For Championship Bow

The Division 2A winners welcome Cork Intermediates to Mullingar on Saturday.

It's the Division 2A League Champions against the Division 2B title winners for the start of their All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship campaign this weekend.

Westmeath were crowned 2A winners at the end of their league season after a a four point win over Derry.

Padraic Connaughtpon's opposition are the 2B Champions, Cork Intermediates. 

They overcame Tipperary in their league final.

The Lake County manager says his side have been training hard in preparation for a testing contest.

He previews Westmeath's championship opener with Midlands 103's David Hollywood:

Throw in is set for 12.30pm on Saturday in Cusack Park.
