Its been cancelled for the first time since World War Two
For the first time since World War Two, Wimbledon has been cancelled.
The All England Club made the decision to cancel the Championships as they believe coronavirus measures will remain in place for many months.
But US Open organisers are determined their Grand Slam will go ahead in August.
That’s despite part of the Flushing Meadows complex currently being used as a temporary hospital.
And the WTA and ATP have cancelled the grass court season, with their tours not resuming until July 13th.
