Elaine Houlihan President of Macra chats about the organisation's National Lobbying Day which sees members descend on Leinster House to ensure politicians are aware of the needs of young rural dwellers. Liam Kelly from Teagasc gives the information on an upcoming forestry event taking place in Oakpark in Carlow which includes over a dozen stands and is must see for both current and potential forestry owners. Henry Burns the recently elected Chairperson of Laois IFA chats about an upcoming farm walk where he hopes there will be a big turnout as he feels social gatherings are hugely important during this very tough time for farmers when growth rates and the weather are both proving difficult.
