Two years ago on Midlands Today's on International Women’s Day, Midlands 103 launched step up to the mic to try and get more female voices on air. Out of that five women received training in all aspects of radio. Two ladies wanted to continue their journey on air and the Loose Cannons were born. Over the last year, Mary Sherwin and Helen Stynes have discussed everything from pensions to the garda uniform to how google maps drive them mad. This year, we wanted to challenge them even more, so we decided to send them pole dancing and wanted them to record their experience. And I'm proud to say that not only did they do it but the ladies in the office got behind them too and joined them at Bombshell's Pole Studio in Tullamore
